10 years ago, hunting gear for women pretty much did not exist. Getting children’s or men’s clothing was all a girl had to do, but a lot of the time, the clothing and gear did not fit right and make a ruckus when walking through the woods.
If you’re anything like we are here at Northeast Hunting, you find yourself dragging your cell phone out into the woods with you a lot more than you’d probably like (sure, it’s nice to have the added security and ability to get in touch, but sometimes it’s just nice to detach completely, you know?).
Deer in the New England area are usually born late May and into early June. When deer are harvested during the November season, they are normally all at least 6 months of age or older. During the past years that data was collected, it was determined that 21% of the deer were yearlings, while 52% of them were adults that were around 2.5 years of age or older.
