Half day or Full day turkey hunting?

Last year Pennsylvania went to full day turkey hunting for the last half of their season. New York is now debating the issue. New Jersey and Massachusetts (states I hunt) hunt only half days.

What are your thoughts?  Lets get a good discussion about this……

I do not think it will do much to the turkey population allowing hunters to hunt full days over half days. Most turkeys are more active in the early morning when they come off the roost then they are in the afternoon and evenings. Some hunters can catch a turkey before they roost for the night, but it is more difficult I think then calling them in during the morning hours.
