How To Spot An Adult Doe

If size matters to you then wait till you can make a comparison between deer. Do not shoot at a lone deer but wait till another deer is nearby and choose which one is larger. An adult doe’s tail will also be much longer than any younger deer, and the same is true with their nose. Also check the body of the deer and check to see who is wider and has more mass, because a fawn can be the same height as the mother. Lastly focus on the lead deer because especially during hunting season an adult deer will lead the group. These are just a few tips to remember if you want to increase your chances of harvesting an adult doe.
